Fresh air, mountains and plains, forests and groves, lakes and sea coasts - such a magnificent diversity and beauty of the natural landscape in an ensemble with historical monuments that it takes your breath away. And, of course, delicious local dishes and hospitable people. That is the Southern Italy. If you come from a big city, the energy of the southern inhabitants is like a sip of fresh water. Having lived among these people, you reveal many qualities in them and you begin to appreciate very simple things, without show-off and external gloss, but more important and deep ones. For example, the family values, attitude towards parents. It doesn't matter whether they live near or far, their children have some kind of heightened bond with them. They have deep respect for their father, and their mother is considered something sacred. Even other people's children are treated here as if they were their own, with kindness and love, and they never lack attention. Southern Italians take life more lightly, seem to be more relaxed and inclined towards humor and fun. Here people have a very philosophical approach towards all difficulties, despite the fact that, traditionally, the South of Italy is the least economically developed part of the country.
