ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is 3rd canvas I painted for the "Capsule Hotel Dreams series", which was a series I created while I was living in Shanghai aiming to go to have my debut exhibition in Tokyo. I use myself as the model using a traditional Osaka antique imperial warrior helmet with horns. I put myself taking a drink from the famous Japanese vendor machines, indicating that heroes also have human necessities. This canvas has been exhibited 2 times in Tokyo and one more in Mexico City.
