'The world is yours' is a painting based on a postapocolyptic future where for whatever reason humanity has been wiped from earth. This painting shows a young girl exploring an old derelict hotel that has been empty for some time. The snow leopard has become her unlikely companion in this new world. The position of the girl gazing up at the stars was to create a sense of wander from the viewer, i would like to think that you are imagining all the thoughts that the girl is experiencing in this quieter world at this moment. Almost as if she has the possibilities and dreams to explore in this new world.
