ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is another from the "Day Dream Series" where I have fun filling a canvas with paint and then standing back and looking at it for days. Gradually an idea and story emerges, followed by days of painting and developing the idea. "Them are Us" happened in the Covid year when the division of ideologies became extreme especially in my own community. It was so easy to dismiss and condemn the ideas of "them" but important to remember "them are us" and much work must be done to keep a compassionate viewpoint.
