My name is Renate Dartois I am a self-taught artist based in Los Angeles CA. I have been painting for many years I started out part time but it has now become a full-time passion. I mostly work with Acrylics on my larger paintings, but I like also to use mixed media on my smaller works. I get my inspirations from different sources, humanity women issues, stories I read. But often I just let my paintbrush show me the way. I like to experiment with different techniques especially when I paint abstracts.
