Her figure is suggested through swirling lines and gestural marks that create a sense of movement and liveliness. I have intentionally left her features undefined, allowing the viewer to project their own interpretations onto her. The colours I’ve used in this artwork are rich and intense, expressing the woman's complex and multifaceted personality. Varying shades of blues, greens, and warm yellows come together in a beautiful harmony, representing her ever-changing moods and experiences. I believe Joan Mitchell's influence can clearly be seen in the expressive marks and colours, and with each brushstroke I have endeavoured to infuse my own emotions into the work.
