ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I made this painting using dry felting technique. with colored layers of wool, applied to a felt surface, I created these big and beautiful daisies. They seem to come towards the viewer, white and happy, from dark and narrow spaces , like hopes or wishes. Looking at the painting , you can imagine your own thoughts which break from the dephts of consciousness toward the surrounding reality and finally, how the beauty and warm sunlight calms them down and transforms them into beautiful flowers. In the same time , you can feel all these, by touching the surface of artwork, because the wool gives you a special wormth , like a gift, so you can have a double experience. The back of the artwork is stabilized, such that the painting cannot be demmaged. The work will come together with a little attention from me: a small postcard, painted with acrylics, signed, as a sign of respect for your appreciation.

My name is Daniela Andrei. I was born in Hunedoara, 10.10.1967, Transilvania, Romania. I work and live in Bucharest, Romania. First , I studied exact sciences at the University in Bucharest, than, much later, arts at the University of Arts in Bucharest, where I also obtained my master' s degree. I turned to art later, from an inner calling for which I have not found any logical explanation until now...and I let myself be carrying away... In 2022, I opened my own studio, near the Bucharest, on the bank of a plain river, in a village called Moara Vlasiei, where I want to teach the children from the country, everything I have managed to accumulate, such as work- techniques and to develop their sense of beauty. My works are inspired by everything I see around me and love : nature and people. I like to experiment working with various natural materials: wood, clay, wool, because I feel them closer to me and because they charge me with positive energy. The colors give me a feeling of well-being and joy and that' s what I try to convey to everyone through my work.
