Disturbed after a thunderstorm, sky still echoes like cello strings after a sharp and loud sound. Pieces of the sky make turbulent chaos, mixed and confused. Like thoughts disturbed by excitement and shock. Sharp poppies with palette knife, superimposed next to each other and mixed with each other make you feel the moving living pulsation of the post-thunderstorm sky. And only the boat seems to remain invariably calm and balanced, as the realization that any storms pass.

«I always used to create with the words. I studied literature and work as a journalist. Until I discovered the ability in myself to express feelings and outlook using paints. In April 2015 I took a piece of paper and a few pieces of dry pastels and painted clouds. They had not been given rest to my mind for a few weeks: it was a spring "exodus" of the clouds from the sky. They moved like great winter blanket. And they were shined by the sun. Since then I've been painting on canvas with oil paints. For me it is a rare process of deep communication with myself and the world. Wish my pictures become the bridge to communicate with the other people. If you could find in them something close and clear for you, I will be happy. And I will be of course happy if my art brings warmth into your house». Valeria Radzievska - painter and journalist Born in Kiev, Ukraine. In 2004 he graduated from the department of "literary work" at the Institute of Philology of the Kyiv University by Taras Shevchenko. In 2008 defended a dissertation on the forms of interliterary reception of Ukrainian and French literatures. Since 2004 I have been working as a journalist on the radio and in the magazine. Since 2015 I have realized a long-standing dream - I began to paintint. During this time I created more than 100 oil pieces. I paint the most perfect forms created by nature - the sea element, people, plants. Everything in which there is primal wildness, freedom, and therefore beauty. I love the play of the sun on human face, flower petals and water. I like to look for my own memories on unfamiliar streets or forest roads. Splashes of paint on canvas bring me back to that reality. Portrait is a special sphere. The most important are eyes for me. Too alive, too talkative. I would call my art aesthetic. There is an important health effect in this. Forms around are no less deep then our subconscious. They give some code a harmonious organization. Tuning in to this algorithm we can bring harmony back into our inner world. I work in realistic style. I paint on canvas with oil using both a single layer alla prima method and multi-layered long-term method. For some paintings I want to give a subtle and almost photographic reproduction of shapes and colors with a thin brush and finger tips to create soft color transitions in one. Others, "loud", I paint with a wide pasty brush or palette knife strokes: this way I sculpt the texture.
