To Infinity and Beyond Print

I chose this subject to portray the inner child we all have inside of us, always ready to jump out, after having been made to stay put day after long day of living an adult life. We all deserve to let the kid in us out, and smile from time to time. This painting, I hope, is able to help remind the viewer to see the sweetness in life the way we used to as children, and to more actively pursue enjoyment in everything they do, whether it is work or play. I chose watercolor for the painting because I was able to add as much color as I wanted to make the robot a vibrant blue, while keeping it realistic. I chose the yellow background because I was inspired by the concept of time and space travel, often portrayed in the media as something being beamed up and or away to another place.
