ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was inspired listening to Tom Waits song, the Earth Died Screaming. It sets an apocalyptic tone and the lyrics resonated with me during the quarantine because of the Corona Crisis. I painted in black and white acrylic from a photograph of Tom Waits, placing the lyrics beneath him.
