Biography Heather Lennox was born in 1970 and brought up in the small town of Wilmington, Massachusetts. She spent her formative years as a teenager living near Glasgow, Scotland then moving to the outer eschellons of southern surrey in her adolescence. Heavily influenced by surrealist art and impressionism, and after many years of running clubs, dealing in antiques, selling and making clothes, jewellery & working in the fetish scene Heather decided to retain all of the outlandishly beautiful imagery of the world as she sees it. Taught to privately by a figurative painter Heather's recent run of work utilise bold colours interspersed with elements of abstraction contained within a figurative piece. Heather is an ardent fan and resident of London since 1994 situated in the Camden area. On restraint "I love the freedom of lack of restriction in art and it is one of the true places for it to flourish. The prevalence of the idea that life if about risk has always been of great importance to me. To step off the precipice to see if you can fly or crash; the feel of the wind in your hair at 130 mp.h. or the feeling that your next action may win all or destroy everything. Those are the kind of things I live for. Those kind of chances have always led me to discover other people and interests possessing a myriad of true talent. I don't want the world to end up full of people who have to do things that make them want to die inside. That part of the world needs to change. Life is about risk, not restraint. (Unless you run a fetish club, then it's about restraint!) " Heather has appeared on television and in the media many times. As yet, not discussing art but promoting the progression of conciousness and education about understanding more diverse types of sexuality via her connections with the Fetish Scene in London. She currently describes her work as Colour driven & Maximalist. Selected One-Heather Exhibitions March 2011 Bromley Arts Selected Group Exhibitions 100 Paintings Kensal Rise London September 2011
