ABOUT THE ARTWORK
There is nothing more enchanting than sunset. The world pauses to catch its breath as the sky shows off its raiments of purple and pink. I painted Tree at Dusk with the desire to show the magic I see at sunset. The background is thickly painted with lavenders, hot pinks, oranges, and the hint of black beneath. The foreground shows a tree come to life with swirling shapes and organic curves. I find nature to be my favorite source of inspiration.
