ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As the title says, this painting is a tribute to the Spanish surrealistic painter Joan Miró, one of the pioneers of Surrealism in Europe. He was very interested in the children's world, that's why I painted a bust of a child and the subconscious bursting into vivid colorful shapes. The bust is painted with spatula in black and white, using dense layers of paint.
