“My experiences and life events are a gift from God. Beautiful things can happen from hard work, everyday challenges and our deepest struggles. It's a reminder that not necessarily things will be easy, but anything is possible with the right mindset and dedication” - Dinorah Marie Dinorah Marie was born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico. From the moment she witnessed a street artist creating a stunning mural at the soccer field she used to practice on, she was captivated by the colors and creativity that surrounded her and knew from a young age that becoming an artist was the career she wanted for her life. When she was 13 years old she was selected to be part of the soccer FIFA National Team of Puerto Rico where she devoted her entire teenage years to the sport. After meeting her now husband and grieving the loss of her first born a week after the baby was born, Dinorah Marie decided to serve in the United State Armed Forces, serving eight years and becoming a Veteran. During that time her passion for the art was reignited and she got a degree in the Culinary Arts. As a devoted wife and mother of three girls, with the eldest daughter being special needs, Dinorah Marie's life has been filled with challenges. Throughout the years, she has spent many sleepless nights in hospital rooms, putting her dreams of becoming an artist on hold. But now, as her children have grown older, Dinorah Marie has decided to embark on a new journey to rediscover herself. That's when she decided to take her art skills to a whole new level. Enrolling in an intensive one-year art program with the Milan Art Institute, Dinorah Marie mastered the art of combining old master’s methods with modern techniques, ultimately becoming a professional artist. Today, Dinorah Marie, resides in the sunny state of Florida, in the first solar powered town in America, where she has established a small studio that serves as the creative hub for her work. Through her art, she hopes to spread joy and positivity in the world and to encourage others to find their own creative voice.
