Pramu Kanjutium began painting at the age of 11. Since joining Saatchi Art in 2021, his paintings have entered private collections across the United States, Europe, and other parts of the world. His work has also reached an international audience through various social media platforms.
Created as collectible contemporary artworks rather than decorative objects, Pramu's paintings combine Contemporary Art, Surrealism, Pop Art, Political Satire, Symbolism, Conceptual Art, and Psychological Realism. His work explores geopolitics, mythology, human desire, technology, psychology, alternative realities, time travel, UFOs, and social criticism through symbolic narratives and philosophical inquiry.
Long before AI-generated imagery became widespread, Pramu was creating paintings that combined unrelated images, surreal symbolism, political figures, and impossible scenarios into unified visual worlds through manual painting, research, intuition, and imagination.
Each painting is created using professional artist-grade oil paints, including Daler-Rowney, Old Holland, Jackson's, Winsor & Newton, Michael Harding, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh. Multiple glazing techniques create rich color depth, luminosity, and a museum-quality finish.
