Artist born in Monterrey, Mexico with over two decades of experience in Mexican visual arts. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Arte A.C. In addition, she has completed a diploma in Jewelry and Accessories Design and Production at the CNCI University, as well as various art history diplomas at ITESM in Monterrey. She tackles important and relevant topics for society: in her works, we find critiques, social issues, concerns, and demands related to the world we inhabit, always grounded in her experiences, memories, and life. Using abstract geometry, she wields the brush to create color textures through layers of paint, resulting in dynamic, colorful, and daring artworks. Having spent her childhood in the 1970s, Verónica is strongly drawn to the retro, op art, and the art produced in the 1960s and 1970s. She has participated in more than sixty individual and group exhibitions, as well as art auctions in Mexico and abroad, particularly in Chicago and Laredo in the United States, and São Paulo, Brazil. She has exhibited in numerous gallery and museum spaces, such as UNAM in Chicago, Instituto Cultural Mexicano de Laredo, Torrego Art Gallery in Brazil, Casa de la Cultura de San Pedro, Edificio Nouparc, Museo Industrial El Blanqueo, Museo El Centenario, Museo Metropolitano de Monterrey, Monterrey Museum of Contemporary Art (MARCO), Raúl Rangel Frías Library at UANL, the French Alliance of Monterrey, Akadem, Banamex Financial Center, Museo de Ciudad Guadalupe, Museo del Antiguo Palacio de García, and the Alpino Chipinque Club, among many others. Her works are part of private collections in Mexico and the United States.
