Nataliia Lynnyk is a Ukrainian contemporary artist working across portraiture, abstraction, and conceptual art. Her practice explores the tension between inner cognitive presence and the fragility or limitation of the physical body. Through layered textures, restrained color harmonies, and symbolic figuration, Lynnyk investigates states of silence, isolation, and preserved consciousness within conditions of paralysis, neurological disruption, or severe bodily restriction. Her conceptual series “Locked In” reflects on individuals whose minds remain lucid while the body becomes inaccessible — transforming medical reality into a profound visual meditation on dignity, perception, and human existence. Alongside conceptual works, the artist creates expressive portraits and abstract compositions designed for contemplative contemporary spaces, bridging emotional intimacy with philosophical depth. Lynnyk’s works have been exhibited in Ukraine and are held in private collections.
