ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a picture from a special series of artworks for me, which I paint based on my impressions of traveling in the Ukrainian Carpathians. All artworks are painted either from nature or from sketches drawn during hikes with full immersion in the mountain environment. I tried not to literally convey everything I see, but to capture the fascinating spirit and power of the mountains at different times of the year and weather conditions. These landscapes are full of color and energy. All paintings are very carefully packed in cardboard boxes with layers of bubble wrap to protect them to ensure the painting will reach you safely.
