ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting "Unprecedented" was written under the inspiration of history by Ruth Beider Ginzburg. Ginzburg, after O'Connor's resignation and before the appointment of Sonia Sotomayor, was the only female member of the Supreme Court. She became the leading and very successful advocate of women's rights - so to speak, Tergood Marshall of her cause. In this painting, the artist turns to the social context, which affects the position of human expression in society. Creative research implies immersion in psychology and the inner world of man and an attempt to understand what is happening in his soul at the moment of a critical clash of emotions and reason, under the pressure of social concepts and social expectations. The object of her research is the person and her desire for absolute freedom and happiness at the same time, with the need to adapt in the real world without destroying it and not causing pain.
