I grew up with colours, brushes and paintings, as my dad is an artist by hobby. So I never felt uncomfortable with brush and canvas from my childhood. I completed my formal initiation into the world of art by obtaining a masters' degree in fine art from Bhopal. I began my work with realistic art and painted realism for many years. Gradually as I got more involved in my work and started exploring the depths. My work was no more dependent on shapes and sizes - I had stepped into the world of Abstractism. My work is about inner resonance of feelings and there reflections that brings out the forms and rhythmic symphony of hues and colors. My artistic landscape generously encompasses my philosophy of life and can be explained and understood in terms of emotions and feelings. The intense stimulating quality of my work is both soothing, contemplative and strives to establish contact with my true self. My work captures varied moods imbued with a sensitive touch of my own beautiful world of feelings, thoughts and an urge to explore peace and serenity from the outer world. For me painting is very internal and personal. It’s a communication by the medium of emotions that establishes a fine balance between forms and heartfelt hand strokes. I love to work on canvass as it attracts me to communicate with it. My conversation with the canvas continues until I reach the pinnacle of thoughts. The process is so natural and I make no pretensions of showing my emotions and feelings through my art, but I do not stop these from emerging either. I work with forms through the variation of hues and contrast .In my artworks I have used Light, equated with white that reflects the purity of the desert, the leveling down of multiplicity. White symbolizes the unity of colours. I have not removed the colour from my palette, only covered it, compressed, underneath. My lucid precision is with regard to the field of canvas, where the limitless reach of the inner space is manifested, and an invitation to swim in infinity is proposed. What I find characteristic for my painting is emptiness and peace combined with a little bit zeal to fly beyond boundaries; the world of light and shadow.
