About The Artwork
This work embodies a moment of surrender. This is about being present in the moment, alone with my mind, body, and materials. This is a practice in letting go of the illusion of control and allowing my hand, brush, and oil medium to simply be. My intent is for the different pigments I have brought together to collide and work together however they "see" fit together with the art of motion in that single moment. No overthinking, no revisions, no regret. An exercise in presence and surrender with the side-effect of soothing my soul.
