ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Many abstract artists of the past century tookup the position that music is a universal abstract language. Therefore, the first abstract paintingsare closely associated with music, they are even officially called as images, portraits of music. The exemple of such paintings is the first consciously abstract watercolor by Wassily Kandinsky of 1910: composition of colored spots, which interact with each other and revolve around one another. Rhythmic combination of colors in my "Intermezzo" series are directly inspiried by musical compositions. I aim to combine music and painting in the same rhythm. Visual elements in "Intermezzo" series are proportional to the simphony music component. Sophisticated lyrical abstractions "sound" with flaming colors and emotional substanse. The paintings were performed in an expressive manner to different music.

I'm Ukranian artist. I paint expressive abstract art that send us back to the world of "spiritual beings". Using acrilyc and oil paint, alternating lage strokes with impulsive gestures and occasionally thin graphic lines, I create paintings that avoke free associations. My creative qest relates, first of all, to color - a substanse? which interacts directly with strong emotions and becomes a clear expresion on a canvas free of any signs of mimesis. I'm absolutely in love with world's colors and uses coloristic expressions as universal language. My investigation of art possibilities during the exploration of myself and the world is represented by contact of very complex emotions and experyences, when only full immersion gives result. I try to find "my own" pure color in my sincerity and depth of idea, time and shades diversity combination.
