About The Artwork
This was my first official acrylic painting, outside of high school projects and the like. It was an attempt to learn what I liked and didn't like about painting and what I could improve on. I just kept trying until I got a result I was happy with. I probably spent more time on this painting than any other I've done, but it was well worth it to improve as an artist and get out of my comfort zone of graphite and colored pencil portraits.
