This painting consists of hundreds of lines of paint, individually poured over the course of weeks. For this piece, I wanted to create a sense of depth in the color transitions. I didn't use any hard edges, brushes or tools. Each color is mixed, then combined with water, thinner, or paint conditioner, then poured down the canvas. The painting is varnished. I find it therapeutic working to combine the right color and viscosity as well as watching the paint flow down the canvas, and I hope this conveys in the final piece. I will ship the piece safely boxed and also include the inexpensive metal float frame that is pictured. I'm selling it framed because I have access to the same size frame, but I recommend it be professionally framed if you choose since the current frame is not high quality.
