Sagnik Roy is a visual artist. He was born on 9th April, 1998 in Kolkata. Currently he is practicing his art in this city. He is practicing his art currently in a multi-disciplinary medium and language. He is working with new media (Videography, Digital Photo manipulation), Site specific installation, public art, participatory, community based etc. art processes and mediums. His research on theater scenography, from which he also draw inspiration in his own practice. How the integration of the performer's body with multiple objects or materials in a space occurs and an alternative spatial performance language is born where visually he is looking for contemporary alternative organic art forms.
