ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When I moved to the mountains of Garner Valley California - I was inspired by the mountain landscapes. Reminded me of home in Colorado. I slowed down painting portraits and begin with mountains, sky and nature. When I look at the sky I don't just see blue - I see the movement and the rays of the sun. I see the many colors that make up that simple blue. I do my best at translating these ideas on to canvas with oil paint.
