About The Artwork

In this cubist portrait, a young girl gazes pensively, her expression a cryptic blend of mystery and depth. Clad in a mask, she seems enshrouded in secrets, hiding layers of untold narratives behind her veiled facade. Each geometric angle of the painting portrays her intricate complexity, suggesting a tumultuous inner world. The girl's choice to wear the mask stems from a desire to shield herself from a society that fails to comprehend her uniqueness. The mask becomes a symbol of protection, concealing vulnerabilities and guarding her unconventional nature from the world's scrutiny. Yet, as the story unfolds, the narrative pivots on her decision to remove the mask, a pivotal moment reflecting courage and vulnerability. She unravels the layers, exposing her true essence and confronting the world with her authenticity, daring to defy conformity and embrace her individuality. The secrets she keeps are not sinister but rather fragments of her multifaceted identity, waiting to be unveiled.

Alekberova Anna Ann Jackpot. I was born and live in the northernmost city of Kazakhstan - Petropavlovsk. An artist by vocation, a philologist, a literary critic by education, a crazy poker player by heart. She began to draw as a child, but then no one could understand the strange drawings of a little brown-eyed girl with an unusual vision of the world. Time passed, the girl grew up and immersed herself in science, but continued to draw. I know for sure: every person is a huge world with a burning heart, everyone subtly feels everything that happens, everyone deserves happiness and beauty.
