Inna Naanep Vitasa is a licensed financial advisor and a self taught artist and a born again Christian. Known for using the scroll format for her works, Inna's manner of representing her ideas differs mainly as a result of her compositions. In most of her paintings, she displays mastery of compositions. Schooled in accountancy but born with artistic talent, Inna loves to ventures to different subjects to discover what she can do. She takes it a challenge to try always something different and create something new, thus the varied subjects done in different mediums in her portfolio-- flowers and fruits in watercolor , women in sepia and pastel and butterflies in acrylic. Her brown-skinned young women have evolved into gray-skinned ladies selling butterflies as she played her subjects towards surrealism. She has done artworks for The Linden Suite and Marco Polo Hotel, Davao She had eight solo shows and has joined several group shows. She believed it was God who opened the doors for her to the colorful world of visual arts when she worked as an independent auditor for National Artist Cesar F. Legaspi who invited her to the Saturday Group whose senior members encouraged and mentored her. She tries to use her latest pieces as catalysis to her spiritual belief and a new beginning. After slowing down as an artist for ten years while homeschooling her daughter she is now ready to break free from the shackle of self-induced restrictions. She is now ready to explore new possibilities and new dimensions in her works, to play again like a child with a brand new box of crayons without fear nor boundaries. She is excited where God will lead her and what doors He will open for her. She hopes that the images in her paintings will trigger responses and interpretations from the audience. She is forever grateful to her Creator who faithfully walks with her in her journey as a visual artist, a wife, a mother, as servant, but most of all as His child. Married with one child, Yna, whom she has homeschooled for ten years, she lives in Muntinlupa with her very supportive husband, Rey.
