ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a beautifully rendered oil on Senso Linen from my Museum Series. "Visiting Renoir" was derived from one of my visits to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. I roam the galleries of the impressionists and saw this woman enchanted by this painting Renoir created "The Daughters of Caulle Mendes". Renoir is an incredible painter and it is my honor to re-create this image while adding my own figure and style! I hope you are equally inspired. I chose the Senso Linen for this piece, because this gorgeous unique linen absorbs the paint and it takes layers and layers to create this technique.
