The university corridors I've always traversed suddenly felt unreal. I harbored an exciting imagination that, at the end of the long corridor, it might open into a new and unfamiliar space. My paintings often include representations of water or the sea, expressing the idea that the spaces I perceive are not fixed in their appearance and hold the potential for change.
