Jerome Muscat is a French contemporary painter specializing in artistic creation on paper His works capture faces, looks, ranging from realism to abstraction, captivating the eye of the viewer. The use of water-based mediums allows him to immortalize the ephemeral, fragile and yet powerful aspects of life that are thoughts and emotions. The movement of the brush, agile and precise gives life and movement to his works. In a world where everything goes very fast, where we see each other without "seeing" each other, where our emotions go unnoticed, it seeks to provoke a moment of contemplation, a pause during which we will take the time to observe, to question. He draws his influences both in the West, including the impressionist colors and the dynamism of pop art, as well as in Asia and more particularly in Japan with the dynamism of manga and the expressiveness of the brush of calligraphy.
