The art space of Olga is built on a combination of painting and design of clothing. No wonder the artist got professional education. She entered Lviv State College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Ivan Trush in 2009, Department of Clothing modeling. Here, thanks to her major subjects, she experimented a lot with the forms and materials, searching for her own approach to design and modeling of clothing. But the world of her interests went far beyond the needs of one area professional. As a talented painter, Olga Shul’ was fascinated by the art of modernism, mainly to abstraction, finding purely professional interest in the creative artists who represented it. Among all the abstract art directions, she chose «abstract post-expressionism». She tried appealing to this manner and this became philosophical choice of the artist – not a fresh experiment. Abstraction became a perfect way for Olga Shul’ to find her own personal style. Along with the «abstract post-expressionism», the artist is fond of design of clothing, which is often combined with prints created on the basis of her paintings compositions, combining with the impact from the works of other artists and graphic-calligraphists. The technique of performing her paintings consists of experimenting with the flow of paint, spreading in different directions with expressive dynamics. The artist believes that abstract painting can be a kind of gate for consciousness, showing viewer the world full of details and wonders.
