ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Tatsuzawa Fudo waterfall in Fukushima prefecture consists of two waterfalls that are a few meters apart. The locals saw masculine strength and feminine tenderness in the falling water and called them Odaki and Medaki. Odaka's water falls with force, Medaki's gently flows over the rock. Indeed, the name is very suitable: yin and yang, male and female. True, due to the shallowing of the river, Medaki is almost invisible in winter, and I managed to capture only Odaki.
