//:: infohack incoming... Set in an alternate, "retro-futurist" 1988, my paintings tell the story of a world where mega-corporations rule every aspect of people's lives, from politics to art. I originally studied fine art from 1995-1998, and after a 3 month stint at university dropped out and learnt the "new" art of web design in 1999. In more recent years I've felt the urge to paint again. Unlike a lot of other "pop art", I wanted to do something original rather than copy or use existing characters. Influenced by 80's anime/manga, movies such as Robocop and They Live, and bands such as Atari Teenage Riot, Pitchshifter, The KLF and The Clash, I want my work to tell a story of it's own.
