ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My abstract painting explores the dance like movement of the windsurfers whom are pursuing their sport atypically in winter months when the weather is cold and breezy. This capture was in October. The movement is punctuated by the stark stick like figures walking the circumference path around the lake. West Kirby salt water marine lake is located on the north west coast overlooking the Irish sea with views of the Welsh hills. Sailing and Windsurfing are popular sports on the lake thanks to its location and consistent winds.
