"Painting is an expression of my joy of life and my curiosity to discover."
My artistic practice is rooted in direct observation and a deep connection with the natural world. Working primarily in oil and watercolour, I paint both outdoors and, in the studio, exploring how light, atmosphere and changing weather shape our experience of a place. Rather than documenting reality, my work transforms lived moments into paintings that move between representation and abstraction, balancing memory, perception and emotion.
Whether inspired by plein air painting or my own photographs, I seek to create works that convey clarity, openness and a quiet sense of presence. Light, depth and spatial expansiveness are recurring elements throughout my practice, connecting different series while inviting viewers to pause and rediscover the beauty and complexity of everyday landscapes and moments.
