The landscape of New Mexico is shaped by wind, water and time. There are places here where little has changed over the past millennia. I painted this a year after I visited Taos and was smitten by the light, color and beauty of the American Southwest. I can almost hear and see the clouds in this image move across the sky. Years later, this remains one of my favorite paintings but am happy to share it now with a true collector.
