Mandy Martin is an award-winning emerging artist whose artwork features abstract floral and landscape imagery. She spent her early childhood in the Illinois prairie, and when her parents relocated to southeastern Pennsylvania, she was amazed by the rolling hills and dense woodlands of her new home. She still resides there, in beautiful Bucks County, and the wildflowers and rich landscape of the region inform her paintings. Mandy is also a beach lover and often escapes in the winter to lush Caribbean destinations which also inform her color palettes and landscape work. Mandy is self-taught and practices intuitive painting. She often allows the organic movement of dripping acrylic paint on the canvas to inform her compositions. It is her hope that her work will inspire viewers to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unexpected places, and to take care of the earth. Mandy’s striking paintings are available online as well as at select shows and exhibitions in the mid-Atlantic United States, where many of her collectors reside.
