I grew up in New Jersey, and now reside in Florida. My inspiration to paint certainly comes from within. It’s a combination of my interpretation of my surroundings, my interaction with others, as well as handfuls of thoughts, moods, and feelings. As I am going through the process of painting, there are thousands of opportunities for change. With each and every stroke of my brush, palette knife stroke, gesture, or splatter, I am able to slightly or broadly vary the direction that I want my paintings to take. This is why I love to paint, I am taking a blank canvas, and giving it form, meaning, and purpose. By my choices of color, depth, texture, and most importantly feeling. My customers are given a visual snapshot of my impression and interpretation at a moment, on canvas. They are able to take away their own unique impression, which at times may be very subjective to each person viewing my art. My personal thoughts on my art are that I always want to create something that is very appealing, and is able to draw the audience in, and keeps it there. In many cases if you look at my art at different angles, distances, and lighting you will keep surprising yourself for months, and years to come. Take a look at my work and let me know what you see.
