Nature is deeply imprinted within my inner world. Its presence resonates with my most intimate emotions, forming a quiet dialogue between the outer landscape and my inner state. My paintings move freely between the recognizable and the abstract, where fragments of reality dissolve into intuition and...

Pavla Parik finished a master's degree in art and architecture In Prague, Czech Republic. After several years of architectural practice, she fully concentrated on her artwork. In her work she has focused on several main topics - Israeli landscape, environmental topics, semi abstract paintings inspired by Israeli archeology and portraits. A significant part of Pavla's work creation is engaged in the environmental subjects and protection of nature. In cooperation with Israel nature park authority, she realized three solo exhibitions in En Afek Nature Park Gallery – "Humanity and Nature", "Roots" and "Sea of oceans". The Exhibition "Humanity and nature" presented more than 25 large scale paintings of Israeli nature parks together with environmental paintings and photographs focused on main environmental problems like plastic pollution in nature, illegal dumps, sea pollution and more. In the exhibition "Roots" Pavla focused on depiction of beautiful, sometimes very old trees, in Israel and on the importance of trees and forest for life on our planet. In the exhibition "Sea of oceans" Pavla presented large scale paintings of sea and ocean together with environmental paintings focused on plastic pollution of the sea and oceans and its influence on marine life. She also collaborated with 3 other artists on an art-environmental exhibition "Will I disappear" together with Dr Itai Roffman from Jane Goodall institute Israel in their efforts to make the world a better place by raising critically important awareness about environmental crises. Pavla's cycle "Israel landscape" contains more than 40 large scale landscape paintings. Pavla is a member of Israeli society of painters and sculptors. Pavla has had a number of solo exhibitions in Israel, and she had also participated in several group exhibitions. Her paintings are in many private collections in Israel and Europe. She also made several donations of her art to public institutions – the biggest one to Rambam hospital in Haifa. "To me painting is a bridge between reality and my soul; it is a way to communicate without words. Emotions are an essential part of my creative work. Some of my paintings are realistic, some semi abstract. The ability to balance between styles allows me to capture the essence of more subjects. Usually, I use acrylic paints on my large-scale paintings, occasionally I also use oil paints, especially when depicting atmospheric phenomena in landscape paintings.”
