I love wildflowers. The intricate patterns they weave, they soothe my soul. I try to weave my imaginary grasses, leaves and flowers into a carpet of colours and lines. The way they play with each other, connect and grow is about unity, balance, whimsy, and the magic of creation. Many layers of translucent colours play with each other, built over time. A feminine and romantic, this piece is all about beauty and subtlety of nature. The depth of this painting reveals itself over time, it's quite surreal how magically alive it is.
