To be quite honest, I have never assumed there's gonna be an outcome if I have a white canvas in front of me. My works of art start with a simple idea, but as I sit in front of them I ask myself two questions: Do I want to show what I really see? Is it that I just want this painting to be understood? Then I put a palette of color in my head and start the journey. This journey usually involves two people; myself and my alter ego. The alter ego has wild dreams but I do not let myself be fooled. I'm afraid she is gonna take over and turn my piece of art into something that no one will be able to understand. I take the decisions but she will intervene if she needs to or if she is bored inside my consciousness. She tells me: 'I assume you don't want people to see what you see.' I struggle but I let the window open for people to discover. When this painting was finished I could only answer the second question: I want someone else to give this painting a meaning. I have my own interpretation and that's something no one else can share, I treasure that part of my art.
