Hi, I'm a Boston-based artist. Making art is a process, for me, to connect with deeper emotions, to feel beyond what I can see, to question possibilities, to think outside the obvious, and to find meaning in shared humanity. I hope my art will offer a place of contemplation, and regeneration of the creative flow. Artists are called upon to: open hearts, keep the wonders of life going, and help people understand many kinds of beauty. I feel the definition of good art is that the artwork does some good for the world in some way. This is the view I've gathered from the masterpiece mentioned in the short story "The Last Leaf," written by O Henry. To give back to the community, I facilitate free plein air sketch intro workshop group. 10% of my art proceeds is donated to unhoused people and animal shelters. When I am not making marks on canvas, I read, mostly poetry, and I write, often free verses and Haibun. My poems were selected for public reading, and on view at Boston City Hall: 2016, 2022, and 2023.

Other than 2D and 3D art, I have fun with songwriting, making music tracks, and putting short films together. Some of my lyrics are in the gathering songs of the all-inclusive UU church.
