Greg Gang Li is an Australian artist and educator who combines realistic style with abstract style. In 1982, he graduated from the China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree. In 1985, he joined the Chinese Artists Association and served as Secretary General of the Ningbo Industrial Design Association. Greg then immigrated to Australia and settled in Sydney in 1990, and is the founder of the Greg Sydney Artists Studio. He is adept in realistic oil painting, sketching, and color pencil drawings. Since then he has created a large number of abstract paintings with the theme of Chinese cursive and traditional Chinese characters. The colors are novel, the techniques are diverse, and the meaning is profound.
