ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In 2016 I was invited by Freddy Negrete to participate in Tatuaje Arts Festival Exhibition, an incredibly layered honor. I immediately saw this scene in my mind's eye, loosely inspired by Aztec mythology and pulp fiction novel covers... particularly the work of Frank Frazetta. In the end it turned out to be a subconsciously inspired portrait of producer and DJ Isabel Reyes, and hangs in her home to this day.
