ABOUT THE ARTWORK
After a weekend in Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina I took one of our many photos into the studio. This painting was going to push my abilities - especially the depressions in the sand. The dark divot needed to convey how bright and low the sunlight was as it hit the sand at such a low angle. I enjoy painting anything that revolves around the ocean and these lifeguard towers are one of my favorite characteristics of ocean beach life. The photo of this is very high resolution and allows you to order a great looking print - whether on paper or canvas
