Yellow Submarine Print

Yellow Submarine is the seventeenth painting in my series of abstract artworks inspired by my love of acrylic pouring. Yellow Submarine was created using a variety of colours and shades interspersed with with bubbles and shimmers of being underwater. Yellow is a difficult colour to keep separate in pouring as it easily blends into orange or green in contact with red and blue, but as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression, hours of practice are needed to maintain a good amount of visible pure yellow which looks great contrasting with the other shades. Art buyers (and art lovers) will see symbolic references to prominent 21st century abstract painters as I offer homage to their artistic vision through my own art.
