About The Artwork

On a clear day, the young frog decided to do yoga. Frog won a suit for a long time and finally, having decided to put on my favorite striped uniform, I went to the meadow to meditate and do yoga asanas. It turned out to be a difficult task, because there were so many interesting things around, in the distance, something gurgled, laughter and music rang out on the other side, and an appetizing mosquito rang over my head. “Oh, and it’s not easy this work to be concentrated and plunge into inner silence,” thought the frog. This story was inspired by my experience of yoga when you can't concentrate in any way and you get distracted all the time, and thoughts, like a swarm of mosquitoes, buzz incessantly. The picture is painted with acrylic paints on fiberboard and covered with a protective transparent varnish. When creating the picture, in addition to acrylic, I used colored pencils. The alternation of different colored layers of paint, strokes, and spatter creates a multi-layered effect. The picture looks a little vintage and naive, evoking charm with its simplicity at first glance. The work is framed in a frame with attachments for hanging final size with frame 49x60x3 cm

Hello! My name is Aleksandra, I am an artist from Ukraine, the war forced me to leave my home. I currently live in Sweden. I always paint in a good mood and only positive stories. I could create all day long, ideas come to me like radio waves. You just need to tune in to the right vibrations and be grateful to the world for every opportunity. The process of creating art is magic. I am inspired by life itself. Very often I draw fantasy stories, fairy tales and fantastic creatures. When I draw, I often talk to the characters in the picture, I imagine how they live and what their character is like. I like that and I smile and enjoy working on the story. I think this is important because I believe that the mood and energy of the artist stay on the canvas and then the painting emits that energy. Therefore, in each of my works, the wish for happiness and joy. When I saw people with frowns, I always wanted to show them that there were many reasons to be happy. Maybe that's why I became an artist. I want people to smile when they look at my paintings, to put them in a positive mood. I want one to feel like a happy child with a pure heart and a great imagination again And as I said before, art to me is first and foremost a way of awakening the most positive feelings in people. Such as love, compassion, the value of life and the value of nature. I feel happy, I draw it!
