After a long an uneventful career in administration I decided to give it all up and go to art school. I mostly paint on found objects, picking up things I find on the side of the road that other people don't want. This gives my work a unique and unpredictable element to it. The painting I produce relies on the surface I have so I react to each object I find differently. I work part time to pay my rent so I don't have to rely on my painting for financial support which gives me the freedom to take my art in any direction I feel necessary for my own development.
