Zeal N°2021M2 Size: 36 W x 26 H x 0.1 D in Ships in a tube My new series “gestural abstractions” I paints layered, intuitive, bold and gestural, abstract paintings, inspired by nature, and the views from my studio in rural Claremore Oklahoma I am a lover of color and texture and typically uses many layers of glazes and washes to produce depth and detail. My work is impactful and adds to any home décor or office environment.

Jim Wildman is a contemporary art painter, born in 1964 in Spokane, Washington. Living in Charlotte, North Carolina. He creates mostly abstract and landscape oil paintings or wood combines 3D panels and sculptures. His technique consists of carefully layering colors, plaster, gypsum, wood or other textures including sawdust on canvas or paper. Jim creates a dense, subtle and slowly deepening mixture of overlapping colors and shapes. He adds marks and texture from sawdust to metal items. His works are an abstract and unique view of nature. North Carolina's country sides, woods, lakes, mountains, seas, landscapes and his emotions are his main inspiration. His contemporary landscape, mixed media, acrylics, and oil paintings are based on his own inspiration or photographs taken during walks or travels. He enjoys computer graphics and photographs that are often part of a series of overpainted photographs. Jim also creates watercolors of imaginary landscapes and abstracts. His work is sold to architects, interior designers, private collectors worldwide. After serving his country for more than a decade in the United States Marine Corp, Jim completed his architectural degree at Oklahoma State University School of Architecture.
